Definition of a Nation State/ Country (www.wikipedia.org): In geography and politics, a country (IPA: /) is a political division of a geographical entity. Frequently, but not always, a country is considered a Sovereign territory and is associated with the notations of State, Nation and Government. Formal recognition as a state requires the fulfillment of the constitutive theory of statehood, which requires that for a state to be to be recognized as a sovereign state, it must receive recognition from other states, which, in turn, are themselves recognized by other states.

Definition of a TEMPELHOF Nation: Non-geographical 'Corporate' entity providing governance and social services including healthcare, education, financial security etc with citizens giving money, taxes, work or other things in exchange for the governmental services. TEMPELHOF Nations can also have a common cultural identity, language, religion, philosophy or other shared values/ lifestyle if it wishes, but it's not a requirement. To be recognized as a 'TEMPELHOF Nation' it must be able to provide basic requirements for it's citizens. All world citizens are free to choose whatever political/ religious/ ideological/ cultural governance they prefer, and free to live wherever they want. Citizens will be free to live in one place, but be citizens in a nation that has its Head-quarters (HQ) on the other side of earth, through a mix of coupon systems plus local private alternatives, if they so wish. All world citizens are free to start their own Nation as well. People can choose to be citizens in several Nations at the same time.

The TEMPELHOF Nations

Basic Facts on the Nations:
Nations will work basically the same ways as private companies do today. Definition of a Nation: The role of the Nation is to provide a secure form of collective living/ cooperation. This can be done through taxes, work or other means. The basic service a Nation must provide to its citizens is:

  • Liberty
  • Law and Order
  • Healthcare
  • Education
  • Retirement Care
  • Social security

In addition to the basic requirements unlimited services can be added of various natures:

  • A common culture, philosophy or religion
  • Additional laws (for instance lifestyle legislation like 'no smoking' laws).
  • Obligations
  • Benefits
  • Lifestyle

Countries can have whatever political, religious or other system they wish, there are no limitations. However, there are two rules:

  • Nations have to be able to deliver a minimum of the services listed above in order to be called a Nation.
  • All citizens are free to join and to leave at any time, no Nation have the right to force the will of a citizen.

They can be bounded to a geographic area, buy land or real-estate like any other company, but it is not a requirement. They do not need to provide their citizen a physical living space in order to be called a Nation.

Payment systems are also entirely optional, it can be done through income taxes or through a pre-fixed annual amount or through work or services offered, whatever both sides agree upon.

The legal framework for the Nations will be developed in the near future through an open request to anyone who would like to add to it. It should be developed through a global interaction and exchange of ideas between unlimited numbers of individuals.
